The C3X is a handsome and feature-filled compact SUV churned out by Citroën India as part of its “Citroën 2.0 – Shift Into the New” philosophy. Launched on 12 August 2025, with its mix of affordable and premium features, it quickly became an offer to rival all sub-4m SUVs. At Rs.5.25 lakh ex-showroom, the C3X has really carved its own niche here, giving the buyers so much value for their money on technology and performance. Now that the brief over, we get onto the ex-showroom price, mileage, features, and engine options.
Price of Citroen C3X Car
The Citroen C3X offers a competitive price range between ₹5.25 lakh ex-showroom for the base Live NA variant to price of ₹9.89 lakhs for the Shine Turbo AT variant on the highest order. The variants cost the following prices: Live NA ₹5.25 lakh, Feel NA ₹6.23 lakh to ₹7.27 lakh, Shine NA ₹7.90 lakh to ₹8.05 lakh (dual tone), Shine Turbo MT ₹9.10 lakh, and Shine Turbo AT ₹9.89 lakh. CNG kit costs ₹93,000 on an optional basis and HALO 360° camera is priced at ₹25,000 on selected trims. The on-road ex-showroom price in metros like Delhi or Mumbai surpasses ₹9.5 lakhs for base variants, and for the higher variants, it is close to ₹10.2 lakhs, which make them some of the cheapest SUVs under these very few road conditions, almost ₹95,000 cheaper than the Tata Punch.
Citroen C3X Car Mileage
Fuel efficiency is almost a secondary thought when considering power and performance. The NA 1.2-litre PureTech 82 motor with a 5-speed manual transmission is supposed to give an ARAI mileage figure of 19.3 kmpl. The Turbo 1.2-litre PureTech 110 is offered with a 6-speed manual and an automatic and does 19.3 kmpl on manuals and 18.3 kmpl on the automatics. Mileage-conscious buyers would appreciate 28.1 km/kg of mileage from the NA engine paired with the CNG kit option. Real mileage would sink to perhaps the mid-teens in spicy driving for the turbo variants, but the C3X is still a very wise buy for an urban-cum-highway carrier.
Feature of Citroen C3X Car
An additional set of 15 features is found in the C3X car in the compact segment. Among the first in the segment, it comes with Proxi-Sense passive entry and push start system for locking and unlocking without any key, cruise control with speed limiter for comfortable driving on highways, and HALO 360-degree camera system with seven view modes, auto-dimming IRVM, and full LED illumination from projector headlamps, fog lamps, daytime running lights, and cabin lights for better safety and visibility. The car also offers a Citroën Connect touchscreen measuring 10.25 inches with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. Finally, the leatherette wrapped dashboard and tropicalised auto AC set the cabin ambience. Going further, it provides a safety mechanism of six airbags, ESP, ABS with EBD, hill hold assist, ISOFIX mounts, TPMS, and a perimetric alarm for a holistic safety package.
Citroen C3X Car Engine
In the C3X, petrol engine options are conferred. The 1.2-litre PureTech 82, being naturally aspirated, makes 82 PS at 115 Nm torque with a 5-speed manual. However, the 1.2-litre PureTech 110 turbo produces 110 PS at 190 Nm/205 Nm Motor Power-Torque and walks with a new 6-speed Manual or with Torque converter, an exhilarating sprint-walk of less than 10 seconds from 0 to 100 kmph. Turbo thus sounds quite sprightly in the countryside. The road-tuned set-up on Indian roads ensures a very smooth ride with around 180mm suspension ground clearance and a turning radius of 4.98m.
