Currently, the South African government has officially sought applications for 2025 Internship Programme. The unemployed graduates will be given the opportunity to gain some work experience with remuneration in the form of a stipend amounting to R7,000 a month. The 2025 Internship Programme
The Government Internship Program of 2025 offers departmental internship placements that somewhat come in as a remediation between academic qualification and work skills. - Administration in Law Enforcement: Those with a qualification in Public Management, Business Administration, or a related field. The payment of such internships follows the schedule that applies to intern accounting programs.
- These internships enable recording a hands-on-work-experience in administrative support, which include data management and processing of reports in Centurion area and environs of Gauteng.
Eligibility Criteria
Internship Programme shall be qualified for only in respect of candidates meeting the following criteria:-
- South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 35.
- Must be in possession of a Diploma or Degree as per the programme offered (NQF Level 6-8).
- Must be unemployed. One cannot apply if one was ever paid under the PSiRA Internship Programme, or any similar programme.
- Applicants must be willing to undergo the Internship Programme for the entire 12 months duration at PSiRA.
Foreign qualifications should be evaluated and verified by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). Applications from designated groups and persons with disabilities are encouraged.
How to Apply
Applications must reach PSiRA on or before 7 May 2025 Following procedures in which the candidate has to:
- Download the Z83 Application Form and fill it in from the PSiRA or DPSA website.
- Prepare a CV to include three references with full contact details.
- Send the application to the advertised email address. For example, for this Finance position, it is the Finance email; for Administration, it is the Administration email.
- The subject of the e-mail shall have the respective Reference Number under which the position has been advertised. Only short-listed candidates will be contacted; pre-employment checks may also be done.
