The payment of R2,315, set for September 2025, can be tracked for all the respective dates within the provinces, allowing beneficiaries to plan effectively for when their funds will be accessible.
Grant Payments Start Rolling Out
SASSA has confirmed that the disbursing of funds to all beneficiaries is set to commence on 22 September 2025 and will indeed be completed on the same day as promised. The agency also advised grant holders to not pressure or congest pay points, as funds will be in their accounts after being deposited. The R2,315 grant amount applies to the Older Persons Grant, but other social grants such as the Disability Grant (R2,315) and Child Support Grant (R560) will also follow their own provincial schedules during September.
