In an effort to reduce overcrowding and minimise delays, SASSA continues to stagger payments according to grant types. Beneficiaries ought to be aware that a rush to payment points on the first day of payments is not necessary since funds are secured in their accounts until drawn. The dates are as follows:
- Older Person’s Grant : Tuesday, 3 September 2025
- Disability Grant : Wednesday, 4 September 2025
- Child Support, Foster Child and Other Grants : Thursday, 5 September 2025
